Overview
The Punggol Primary School project in Singapore used LCP Ultradeck® Colorbond steel for the roof and wall cladding. The choice came down to a system that is lightweight, strong, and easy to assemble. Ultradeck® panels don’t just speed up construction; they also reduce labour costs. The Colorbond finish helps the roof keep its colour and withstand the heavy rain and sun that come with Singapore’s climate.
For the school, the roof serves two purposes. It gives solid protection and good water drainage, while also adding a neat, modern look. It doesn’t need much upkeep, which is useful in a busy school environment.
