The Kranji Secondary School roof was done with LCP Lycorseam® Aluminium. This system features hidden clips, which reduce heat transfer and allow panels to slide slightly when the temperature changes. The panels were rolled on site, which means they could go on in long runs without joints. That helps with leaks and keeps the roof looking simple.
The material itself is aluminium with a PVDF finish. It’s lightweight, yet still strong, and works well in Singapore’s hot and humid weather. For the school, it means a roof that lasts longer, requires minimal maintenance, and still looks modern.
