Overview
The Naypyidaw Airport in Myanmar was built with LCP Lycordeck® steel decking as part of its flooring and roofing system. Lycordeck® is made from strong galvanized steel and protected with a Z275 coating, providing resistance against rust and wear. The profile covers 300mm per sheet and utilises closed ribs, which results in fewer fasteners and quicker work on site.
The product complies with Eurocode standards and has been rigorously tested for strength, fire safety, and durability. At the airport, it allows efficient slab construction and also supports ceiling suspension. The result is a system that saves time, holds heavy loads, and lasts.
